Look How Far We Have Come!

This is just a funny video I have seen a few times and was reminded of in a training class this morning. It is especially funny for anyone who has every felt "technologically challenged" or worked to help serve those who are! :-)

NetTrekker

Recently, MCSD purchased a 3 year subscription to NetTrekker.

NetTrekker is a search engine, guiding users to over 300,000 online resources, aligned with state standards and organized by readability and grade level. Each resource is carefully selected by educators to ensure it is safe, age-appropriate and 100% academically relevant. NetTrekker subscribers can expect an easy-to-use tool for K-12 students and educators in a search environment you can trust!

This week, representatives from each MCSD school and center are being trained. They, along with school ITSs, will re-deliver training on this product to schools.

I would love to hear your comments and feeback as you begin to use this new resource!
