I have read several articles lately on the impending "death" of email. I can see why it is coming, but it is so hard to imagine! I suspect as difficult as it may have been for the US Postal Service to imagine days of electronic bill statements, emails, and ecards, coming along to take away much of their business.
In my mind, I still feel like there may be certain circumstances where you just have to have an email, or a global account of some sort. There are so many "accounts" many of us have now with emails, Twitter, Facebook, and other social networking tools - which are quickly being used more for business rather than social - it just seems you need to have one landing point for it all.
It seems that Google Wave is coming along in an effort to meet some of that need. I am excited to see it launch and am curious to see how many aspects of my online madness that it may organize!
